A correction to a guide

This is the message we most want to receive. If a menu path has moved, a command no longer behaves as described, or a step is simply wrong, tell us the guide and what you saw instead. Reader corrections are one of the main ways these guides stay accurate, and we will say what changed when we fix it.

Include the URL of the guide, your Windows version and edition if you know it (press Win + R, type winver, press Enter), and what actually happened.

A guide we have not written

If you have a Windows problem and cannot find a straight answer anywhere, send it. We would rather write about problems people actually have than fill out a keyword list, and requests genuinely shape what gets written next.

A guide that did not solve your problem

Also useful. If a guide covered the mechanism but not your particular case, that usually means the guide has a gap. Tell us what your situation was and we will look at whether it belongs in the guide.

Copyright and DMCA notices

Everything on Zepe is written by us, and we cite rather than reproduce other people’s work. If you nonetheless believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, email contact@zepe.online with the details set out on our DMCA and Copyright Policy page. You are also welcome to raise a concern informally first; we can usually resolve things without a formal notice.

If you have found one of our guides republished elsewhere without permission, we would like to know that too.

Ideas, criticism and suggestions on how to make the site better are all welcome. If something about the site itself is awkward to use, that is worth telling us as much as a factual error is.

• A guide does not match your screen? Check your version with winver. Windows 10 and 11 differ in several of the areas our guides cover, and Home and Pro differ in a few more.
• Wondering how we decide what to publish? Our editorial standards cover sourcing, corrections, and what we refuse to write about.
• Questions about ads, cookies or data? Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy answer most of them, including how to opt out.

What we cannot do

We are glad to correct a guide or write a new one, but we cannot provide individual technical support, diagnose a specific machine remotely, or recover lost data. If data matters and a drive may be failing, stop using it and consult a data-recovery specialist rather than working through more guides.
